THE BLACK STALLION

My love for "Walter Farley's Black Stallion" I could never do a website, without dedicating a page to my love of  Walter Farley's magnificent "Black Stallion", famously known to all his fans and followers as "THE BLACK".
My love for him started back in my young childhood, when I managed to go and see the Movie of "The Black Stallion" while I was on holiday with my family!!.
I was so captivated by the wildness, but yet gentle, rugged yet graceful and beautiful wild Stallion that the four legged Movie star, "CASS-OLE" played.....After that my life was NEVER the same again!!

I put my passion into collecting Model Horses, and turning some of my models into some very fine Black Arabians, including a special few, 
that portray "The Black Stallion".
My FIRST "Breyer" model was Walter Farley's Black Stallion Mold # 401.
In England, ( where I lived )  Reeves International sold him with his racing tack and not with the "Alec" doll...I called him my "Black Lucky Charm" as he went everywhere with me, and I always won the Talent Competitions when he was with me!.
When I moved to America to live, I fell in love with the "Amarna Studios" RESIN Arabian Stallion, made by the late Judy Renee Pope and Elizabeth Bouros.

This special model became my "BLACK", and has been my Foundation stallion for my Model Horse Ranch.
