BLACK ARABIAN NIGHTS
Tribute to "ARABIAN NIGHT'S DINNER SHOW" In Orlando, Florida, U.S.A
I allways looked soo much forward, to visiting Orlando, and going to see the amazing horse show of "ARABIAN NIGHT'S"
When I heard that it had closed on December 31st 2013, I was very upset, and my heart just sank so heavily to know that I would never be able to go and see this amazing show and it's beautiful, breathtaking horses perform again, in the beautiful white, Palace of the Horses.
I have always loved "Walter Farley's Black Stallion", and he changed my life growing up. Even though I haven't been lucky enough to be able to own my own real, Black Arabian Stallion as yet...But having my own version of "the Black" in miniature Model Horse form, and seeing the real "Official Black Stallion" now and again at Arabian Night's always made me feel like the Legendary, "The Black" was real, and I was personally connected to him!.
I guess the people that are lucky to own their own real, Black Arabian horses know that proud, special feeling every day that they can gaze upon their special black Arabian horses.
I first saw the "Arabian Night's Dinner Show" when I was 7 Months pregnant with my Son, "Brandon", in June 1997 and it was also the first time that I got to touch and pet the "Black Stallion" of the show who was called "Black Magic".
I also managed to see the show and enjoy it with my Family and also shared the amazing show experience with my Mom and Dad who came to stay with me and my Family from England, on two seperate occaisions. One was in January 2007 and the other December 2009...It meant a great deal to me, as it was a special show, and it involving horses, with my Mom when she had just got out of Hospital nearly dying of renal Kidney Failure and also the show that I saw with my Dad, that we could enjoy our love of horses together, and sadly my Dad wasn't able to come back to America after that, and passed away in September 2014.
Arabian Night's was a place so special to me, that no matter what happened to it in it's future, I always wanted to keep it alive forever!..Little did I know back then, that it's fate was to eventually close, and the miniature version that I had started to build for my Model Horse Ranch..."BLACK ARABIAN NIGHTS", would eventually be the only remembrance of "The Palace Of Horses" in it's existence in reality!!
